Albert Joseph Landry Sr., 87, born on September, 28, 1929, a native and resident of Pierre Part, LA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Albert was a loving companion, father, grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend to many. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing his guitar with his granddaughter Hannah. He retired from McDermott after 30+ years as a crane operator. He took pride in his work and enjoyed his job. He is survived by his fiancé Shirleen; loving dog Bell; children...

Albert was a loving companion, father, grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend to many. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing his guitar with his granddaughter Hannah. He is survived by his fiancé Shirleen; loving dog Bell; children and spouses, Mona (Irvin), Tammy (Manny), Wendy (Roscoe), Rachel (Dwain), Randy (Tammy) and Albert Jr. (Peggy Sue); grandchildren, Irvin III, Jonathan, Buddy, Jenna, Ashley, Denise, Hannah, Paul, Colby, Alaina, Tanner, Chelsey, Carley, Brandy, Jody, Dexter, Jacie, Justin, Mallory, Haley, Tyler, and Savannah, Bridget, Jessica and Wayne; great grandchildren, Hayden, Hayes, Ellie, Evan, Easton, Millie, Maddox, Jaxon, Brody, John Michael, Jackson, Bentley, Bryce, Allie, Olivia, Kelsey and Joey; step children, Sharon (Blake), Lisa (Jeremy), Erica and Rosean (Bill) and sister, Neva. He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Acosta Landry; parents, Aline and Gregoire Landry; brothers and sisters, Harry, Junius, Roger Sr., Edmond, Ave and Alma; mother and father in law, Orville "Coo-coo" and Albert Acosta; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank everyone who helped take care of him. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 6pm to 10pm and Friday, May 19, 2017 from 7am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
